JCI PENANG EVENT

JCI at PENANG EVENT

Almost a century ago, Henry Giessenbier, Jr. decided to take responsibility for the progress and welfare of his community by helping tackle difficult problems around him. Together with 32 other young men, Giessenbier established the Young Men’s Progressive Civic Associatin, JCI’s first Local Organizatin, in St. Louis, USA in 1915 who dedicated themselves to bringing about community improvements and giving young people a construc-tive approach to civic problems.

It is important to monitor progress throughout the project to determine if the goals and intended impact are on track to be achieved. Finally, analyze data to measure the resulting positive change.By uniting with stakeholders from all sectors of society, projects are formulated to address the community’s core needs and their root causes. Collaborators outline a project plan including goals, actions and desired outcomes.Solutions target three integrated stages of community development that drive a community toward prosperity.Engaging community stakeholders during each step ensures everyone takes ownership of the need and solution, resulting in sustainable impact.

Take Action Once the need and root cause have been identified, active citizens take action by mobilizing resources, rallying.support and implementing the project plan. By combining resources, the community is enabled to achieve even greater sustainable impact.JCI Active Citizen Framework ANALYZE Examine Community Needs To enable communities to achieve sustainable impact, the community’s needs must be analyzed and understood first in order to identify their root causes.1 Health and Wellness Education and Economic Empowerment 2 Peace, Prosperity, and Sustainability 3 A Better World Begins Here

IPHONE 7 LAUNCHING

IPHONE 7 LAUNCHING now

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are Smartphones designed, developed, and marketed by Apple INC. They were announced on September 7, 2016, at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco by Apple CEO Tim Cook, and were released on September 16, 2016, succeeding the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus as the current flagship devices in the iPhone series. Apple also released the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus in numerous countries worldwide throughout September and October 2016.

The iPhone 7's overall design is similar to the iPhone 6S, but introduces new color options, water and dust resistance, a new capacitive, static home button, and removes the 3.5 mm headphone jack. The device's internal hardware also received upgrades, including a Hetegeneous quad-core  system-on-Chip with improved system and graphics performance, and upgraded 12 megapixel rear-facing cameras with optical image stabilization on all models and an additional telephoto lens on the iPhone 7 Plus model to provide enhanced zoom capabilities.
Reception of the iPhone 7 was mixed. Although reviewers noted the improvements to the camera, especially the dual rear camera on the Plus model, they also stated that the iPhone 7 did not make significant changes to the display or build quality, where competing flagship smartphones surpassed the quality of the iPhone 7. Many reviews highlighted the controversial removal of the 3.5 mm headphone jack; some critics argued that the change was meant to bolster licensing of the proprietary Lightning Connector and the sales of Apple's own wireless headphone products, and questioned the effects of the change on audio quality. Apple was also mocked by critics for its statement that the change required "courage".

LASER PRINTING

LASER PRINTING USING COPIER
Laser printing is an Electrostatic digital printing process. It produces high-quality text and graphics (and moderate-quality photographs) by repeatedly passing a laser beam back and forth over a negatively charged cylinder called a "drum" to define a differentially charged image. The drum then selectively collects electrically charged powdered ink (toner), and transfers the image to paper, which is then heated in order to permanently fuse the text and/or imagery. As with digital photocopiers, laser printer employ a xerographic printing process. However, laser printing differs from analog photocopiers in that the image is produced by the direct scanning of the medium across the printer's photoreceptor. This enables laser printing to copy images more quickly than most photocopiers.

Invented at Xerox PRAC in the 1970s, laser printers were introduced for the office and then home markets in subsequent years by IBM Canon, Xerox, AppleHewlett-Packard and many others. Over the decades, quality and speed have increased as price has fallen, and the once cutting-edge printing devices are now ubiquitous.

The first laser printer intended for mass-market sales was the Hp laserjet, released in 1984; it used the Canon CX engine, controlled by HP software. The LaserJet was quickly followed by printers from brother industries, IBM, and others. First-generation machines had large photosensitive drums, of circumference greater than the loaded paper's length. Once faster-recovery coatings were developed, the drums could touch the paper multiple times in a pass, and therefore be smaller in diameter.

Talk About Photocopier

Learn More About Photocopier
photocopier (also known as a copier or copy machine) is a Machine that makes Paper copies of documents and other visual images quickly and cheaply. Most current photocopiers use a technology called Xerography, a dry process that uses electrostatic charges on a light-sensitive photoreceptor to first attract and then transfer toner particles (a powder) onto paper in the form of an image. Heat, pressure or a combination of both is then used to fuse the toner onto the paper. (Copiers can also use other technologies such as Ink Jet, but xerography is standard for office copying.) Earlier versions included the Gestetner stencil duplicator, invented by David Gestetner in 1881.

Photocopying is widely used in the business, education, and government sectors. While there have been predictions that photocopiers will eventually become obsolete as information workers increase their use of digital document creation, storage and distribution, and rely less on distributing actual pieces of paper, as of 2015, photocopiers continue to be widely used. In the 2010s, there is a convergence in some high-end machines between the roles of a photocopier, a fax machine, a scanner, and a computer network-connected printer into a multifunction printer. As of 2015, some high-end machines can copy and print in color.

Colored toner became available in the 1950s, although full-color copiers were not commercially available until 3M released the Color-in-Color copier in 1968, which used a dye sublimation process rather than conventional electrostatic technology. The first electrostatic color copier was released by Xerox (the 6500) in 1973. Color photocopying is a concern to governments, as it facilitates counterfeiting currency and other documents: for more information, see counterfeiting section.
